Support arf console

The new arf console, which works similarly to radian, doesn't seem to work well with this.path.

Can you install the newest devel version of package:this.path and try again? I'm assuming you mean it does not work in VSCode right? Anyhoo, install like this:

remotes::install_github("ArcadeAntics/this.path")

Let me know if that fixes your issue.

I'm not very familiar with this package, but doesn't it fail to cover the issues when using the arf console independently of VS Code (i.e., with X11, etc.)?

I guess so, yeah, but it's really early in the morning and I'm tired, I'll fix it tomorrow.

I don't intend to edit the maybe_unembedded_shell variables because they are working as intended here. R is embedded in arf and so the variables are FALSE as I would like. I'm hoping that all I have to change is the behaviour of .gui_path() so that it prints a more informative error message.

big thanks to @eitsupi for opening this issue.
I've installed the newest dev version of this.path as suggested by @ArcadeAntics and everything now works wonderfully.

I may have misunderstood, but you mean that arf can run R files directly, and is not just a console? I couldn't get it to work myself, though I might've misunderstood it. I did something like:

Downloads\arf-console-x86_64-pc-windows-msvc\arf.exe --file Documents\R\test.this.path.R

and it failed with the following message:

R library error: R parse error: Parse error

which doesn't make sense to me because this:

Rscript Documents\R\test.this.path.R

produces this output, as I expected:

[1] "C:/Users/iris/Documents/R/test.this.path.R"
Error in this.path::env.path(verbose = TRUE) : no associated path
Error in this.path::src.path(verbose = TRUE) : no associated path

@ArcadeAntics I don't know what kind of answer you're looking for.
Also, I don't think I can say anything without knowing the contents of the script file.

I tried a script with the following contents:

cat("foo")

❯ arf -f Downloads\test.R
foo

arf console should basically work the same way as radian.

Interesting, I guess I will have to make further adjustments to determine which script is running. By the way, does arf have a function so that I can get the filename provided at the command-line, so I don't have to parse it out myself?

Actually, since I cannot access the command line arguments provided to arf, I have no way of getting the filename. I guess this is as good as it will get for now.
