Description

In all subversions of 1.20.1. Performing multiple clones in Creative mode causes machine NBT data loss. This appears to stem from clone logic not properly handling inactive machines that still possess NBT data. I'm unsure if other versions also contain this bug.
Additionally, due to an unknown conflict with the Kilt mod starting from version 6.0.2, Please create a patch version 6.0.1 to ensure compatibility with Kilt. Thank you very much.

How to reproduce

1. Fully activate a machine block and enter its block space once;
2. Use the vanilla mouse middle button/Ctrl + middle mouse button to duplicate this block;
3. Place this item duplicate and perform a second duplication operation;
4. The duplicated item in your hand has lost its NBT tags.

If anything, if the first "duplication" does work, then that is a bug rather than a secondary quick-select simply providing you with the block you sample
