No autocomplete or ghost text after :Codeium Auth in NvChad

I installed windsurf.vim in NvChad (lazy.nvim) on Windows.
:Codeium Auth works fine, but no ghost text or autocomplete ever shows up.

• Plugin shows as installed in :Lazy.
• Tried both event = "BufEnter" and event = "VeryLazy".
• Dependencies like plenary.nvim and nvim-cmp are installed.
• No errors in :messages.

Expected: autocomplete suggestions / ghost text.
Actual: nothing appears
