Make setup fails to setup

Whenever I try to run make setup, I get an error saying that the directory asm/chaomodel_symbols.src is nonexistent. I have tried this on MSYS and WSL ubuntu... I think this is related to the logic in the makefile that creates the subdirectories. I believe this problem might occur on the sa1dc repo as well.

Thank you for the report, I think it's because it doesn't create an asm folder and it didn't push an empty folder either because git can't (i thiiiiiink...?), I should probably add an mkdir asm into the makefile

Ok, so I added the asm folder manually for both the WSL Ubuntu installation and the MSYS2 one, and it completes successfully on the MSYS2 one, but fails on the Ubuntu one.

From a quick investigation, it seems that windows treats python scripts as executables and can be invoked as so from make, but on Linux you have to specify that you are using python executable and invoke it when running a script.

You can see what I mean if you look at the OOT makefile.

It looks like the original OOT repo packages it's own venv for python, presumably so it knows where a valid python executable is with all the required dependencies. Not saying you have to do that, just what I observed.

I think I fixed it? I didn't do the venv thing yet, definitely a todo if it's useful
