What happened?

Running the installer fails silently while installing system dependencies.

Expected behavior

I expected the installer to install the software

Steps to reproduce

1. Run the installer.

I use run0 instead of sudo, if that is relevant.

This wasn't working for openSUSE Tumbleweed either as of this evening. The change below allowed me to move forward... I believe it will still throw an error if the dependencies are not met but I can not test that right now.
The zypper was completing successfully but the installer was still exiting. The attempt here was to test specifically for a 0 (clean finish). There is probably a better way...

But this fixed it:
I attempted to check for other no-fatal messages ... like 'nothing to do' because there are no updates for the install dependencies. There may be a much better way but this got it working for me. I was not able to test the negative (actual broken testing) enough to know if the code works in all situations.

I tried again today and it successfully installed this time. However, it is now failing with the following error: SMUNotInitialized: SMU not initialized, call smu.init() first

I do not have secure boot enabled or ryzen_smu installed.

Edit: I installed ryzen_smu and it now loads properly. However, it crashes during the setup when selecting to install the daemon because it is looking for sudo specifically.
