Python Code Health Analyzer v0.1.0 is available, and the next priority is improving behavior through small, reviewable contributions.

If this is your first contribution, start with one of these unclaimed tasks:

• #15 - validate positive CLI numeric options
• #16 - recover from malformed cache entries
• #17 - honor PEP 263 source encodings
• #4 - a subprocess shell=True rule
• All currently available issues

Please comment on an issue before starting so duplicate work can be avoided. The contributor guide covers setup, tests, linting, typing, and the review checklist. Questions about scope or local setup are welcome here.

The project is alpha software. Contributions should preserve deterministic output, include regression tests for changed behavior, and document any known false-positive tradeoffs.
