AUIDIO DEE DD+ ATMOS problems

When converting a 8 channel DTHwAtmos file, it get's converted to a EAC3 JOC (with Atmos) file but with only 6 channels. I tried multiple audio files, always the same result. Is this some limit or am I doing something wrong. If it's limited to 6 channels, then this feature is pointless.

see line 81-84, you have to change the DDP mode to ''bluray'' to get 7.1 DDP.

::choose DEE workflow 8-1-3 DDP Atmos DD+ encoding bitrate (default= 1024)
set DDP_DEE_bitrate=1024

FYI: Bed channels do not matter when bitstreaming 16-channel Atmos.
7.1 DDP Atmos is not supported by LG TVs’ internal player, which makes it pointless in that context.
As a result, 5.1-channel Atmos is the only practical and compatible choice which is why the script default to it.

Hello. thank you for your reply. I have a Philips Oled connected to a AVR via HDMI. It's a Google tv (Dovi,HDR10+,THD,DTSHD compatible) and I stream my movies via Emby. I noticed on streaming sites that have DDP+ with Atmos, I get 7.1 layout on my AVR, so that's not a problem for me.

Sorry for sounding stupid but could you give me a step by step explanation how to do this:

Ok. If you mean opening the .bat file in a notepad and change the setting they are already set to the ones you mentioned
I copied this from my .bat file:

P.s. - I only changed ''DDP_DEE_mode=streaming'' to ''DDP_DEE_mode=bluray''

No streaming service offer DDP Atmos 7.1...

you need to change the DDP_DEE_mode to bluray to get 7.1
