Newly introduced timeouts in 4.0.0-alpha

Describe the bug
Since the 4.0.0-alpha version i'm getting continuous timeouts on all devices.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Add integration
2. Add devices
3. Wait & use the integration for a few days
4. Check logs & see a lot of timeouts.

Configuration
Config flow for 2 devices.

Expected behavior
No timeouts.

Screenshots

Additional context
What i'm also noticing is that this version reintroduced the bug that my devices will be kicked off the WiFi. We had this in the past with older versions of the integration too, but eventually we fixes this by tweaking the interaction with devices. I've always been unable to exactly pinpoint the issue, but my assumption is that the integration is bashing the devices too hard & often which makes them lose connection.

Another thing I've notices is that devices are not always responsive like in the older version of the integration.

Also I need to stress that this connectivity issues are not consistent. So sometimes it does work fine, but sometimes I get the below error messages and unresponsive devices.

@p-monteiro i've for now removed the 4.0.0-alpha version. Let's get to the bottom of this and re-release once this one is solved.

Yes, the kicking off the network happened to me once, so I didn't relate it to the integration, but if there's smoke, there's fire.
We can increase the polling times if it helps, no problem. The value is configurable in the flow anyway.
Do you happen to know when it was fixed before and with what commits?

About the release:
You didn't need to remove the alpha. I think very few had it anyway, since it is not automatically suggested by HACS for upgrade.
Now you have created a stable 4 release, which was not intended, I believe.

About the polling rate, you have it at 60 seconds in stable, and I used 30 seconds by default (I'm using 15 seconds with success at home)

Hmm i'm unsure when it got fixed. Somewhere in the past year I think, one of the releases by @domialex. Maybe do a diff on the current main vs the alpha branch. I can imagine you based your work on versions that were before the changes of @domialex, so that might be why you get those issues again.

As for the release: I did get the auto recommendation of upgrading to 4.0.0-alpha (and did). So I assume a lot of other people saw the same thing.

Currently mine is stable again on the old integration with default values.

Interesting, I only get that if I enable beta versions.

I can imagine you based your work on versions that were before the changes of @domialex, so that might be why you get those issues again.

I'm tracking the main branch since I started work and saw nothing about this, so I guess I started after those issues were fixed

Let me take a deeper look

I don't have much time to debug or contribute, but I can still share some knowledge. I haven't looked at the new implementation, but I know the wifi on these devices can go into a sleep state and take a couple of seconds to wake up. Because of that, it's important not to overload them or queue too many requests, otherwise they start failing nonstop.

I also wanted to eventually batch and throttle requests. My last iteration was stable enough that I didn't push further, but batching is still useful when sending something like a scene where multiple commands need to go out at once.

Yes, I looked at that. Nothing much different is being done now.
Architecturally, instead of a blocking call in a thread, right now it is a pure async implementation.
The retry back-off is still the same.
In #471 I've increased the polling to the same 60 seconds and added some guards against concurrent requests. I also reuse the stream sockets, as some hosts can run out of sockets.
