Description

The pinned chats limit seems to be reversed between a Premium account and a non-Premium account when both accounts are added to the same Telegram iOS app.

In the same Telegram app installation, I added two accounts:

  • one Telegram Premium account
  • one non-Premium account

When using the Premium account, only 3 chats can be pinned. However, when switching to the non-Premium account in the same app, up to 10 chats can be pinned.

This looks like the pinned chats limits may have been applied to the wrong account type.

Expected Behavior

In the same Telegram iOS app, the Premium account should have the higher pinned chats limit, or at least the same limit as the non-Premium account.

The non-Premium account should not have a higher pinned chats limit than the Premium account.

Actual Behavior

In the same Telegram iOS app with both accounts added, the limits appear to be reversed:

  • Premium account: only 3 pinned chats
  • Non-Premium account: up to 10 pinned chats

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Telegram for iOS v12.7.
  2. Add both a Telegram Premium account and a non-Premium account to the same app.
  3. Switch to the Premium account.
  4. Try to pin multiple chats.
  5. Observe that only 3 chats can be pinned.
  6. Switch to the non-Premium account in the same app.
  7. Try to pin multiple chats.
  8. Observe that up to 10 chats can be pinned.
