Hi @magnm,

I have tried the 'Leap Learning Universe' app on the Respect app. I'm able to add the app, but when we open the lessons, we are getting a blank screen.

Hi, have you installed the Android native application as well? I realise I did not add it to the Additional context in the initial ticket. This is the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=no.leaplearning.launcher
The Leap launcher app is required because this is a native android app, not a web view app.
The Respect launcher should redirect out and into the Leap application when pressing "Open".
Let me know if it works.

After installing the Leap Learning Universe app, I am able to open lessons directly within the Respect App. Thank you.

Hello @magnm Thank you for submitting this and thank you @poojaustad for checking it.

The challenge we have now is that if the native Leap Learning app is not yet installed then the learner will just get a blank screen when they click open. I think we need to resolve that before putting an app in the default catalog. You can still use the Leap Learning app with RESPECT by adding it using the manifest link in the meantime for demonstration/pilots etc.

I think we will need to something added to the lesson manifest that tells the RESPECT app that a native app is required, not just preferred (as is usually the case with app links). This way the RESPECT app could take the user to the app store or at least display a message.

I'll update this issue shortly with a suggested fragment of Opds code to add to the lesson manifests.

Hi @magnm,
I've tested the xAPI integration of the Leap Learning App with RESPECT.

I added both the Leap Learning App and the Native Demo App to RESPECT, then assigned lessons through an assignment. When the student attempted the lessons, xAPI statements were generated successfully for the Native Demo App, but no xAPI statements were generated for the Leap Learning App.

Hi @poojaustad ! Thanks for testing.

It looks like you are not using the latest version of our app there. Latest version is 4.3.4.

Also, the app currently does not send individual statements on task progress. It sends completion statements when a full level is completed.

Thanks for pointing out the latest version(4.3.4). I've updated the app and tested it. The statement is now being generated successfully for the completed status.
