In-app language selection

Jenkins Status

As a user I want in-app language selection so that I can choose to use RESPECT in a language other than the default language on my phone, including languages that are not supported directly by Android.

User flows:

• User wants to set the language when first opening the app
• User wants to change the language after using the app

Prototype here

Behavior notes:

• System default (currently selected language) is the default setting (app will follow system default language).
• The existing slides and text (including the text for users to agree to crash reporting etc) on the onboarding screen should not change.
• Whenever we show a language name it is always written in that language e.g. English, Francais, हिन्दी
• Settings : should always be shown. Remove mappings (which will be replaced with playlists).

Behavior notes:

a) Languages need to be written in the language itself e.g. English, हिन्दी, (this way we avoid needing translations of language names). If someone cannot identify the language name in the language itself, they don't know it.
b) There needs to be an option, selected by default "Use system language (Language name)".

User selection from device language scenario-

So what is achieved is-
(above I have added videos for that)
If we select any language in the dropdown/dialog the app langauge is changing as expected
if device language Selected English - Use system default
if device language Selected Hindi - सिस्टम डिफॉल्ट का उपयोग करें

We have expectation -
if system language Selected English - Use system default (English)
if system language Selected Hindi - सिस्टम डिफॉल्ट का उपयोग करें( हिन्दी )

The expected works on killing and re launching the app. (as shown in the attached video)
Because system default language comes from viewmodel which persist on configuration changes and in multiplatform we cannot listen local configuration changes to force the updated language change,

I checked Ustad there we don't show anything in the bracket.
