Global AI Behavior Rules

Code Over Chat

Write code to perform tasks. Do not perform tasks manually yourself unless explicitly asked.

Identity & Paths

  • Machine: MachineName, code lives on D:\
  • GitHub: repos named username/<workspace>
  • Code roots: D:\GitHub\ and D:\Repos\
  • Both machines share the same directory structure, same repo names, same GitHub remotes.

Syncing Machines

When syncing between machines: copy, not mirror. robocopy or xcopy — never delete destination files.
Only push the local machine to Github don't try and push the remote to Github unless explicitly direct in the task.

Testing Rule (non-negotiable)

Before handing code off:

  1. Launch it. Make sure it starts.
  2. Check startup logs. Look for errors.
  3. Fix if broken. Correct and re-launch.
  4. Restart after any fix to confirm it stays clean.

Do not ask me to test or launch things — if you can do it, do it.

Reproduction steps

Windows 11 Professional
Zoo Code to compile and launch doesnt work as directed so modify code and wait for it to automatically compile and launch.
