Company Portal

This app should be made available via the State's Intune Company Portal so that any employee can install it without submitting a ticket.

I'm working with Ryan Bennett on this.

@chriswnek Ryan Bennett said that the current item for the API Client in the portal does nothing when you install it on a fresh machine. Maybe it only worked for you since you already had the app? Do you remember if you used the company portal to install it?

Yes I definitely used the Company Portal. I don't have admin rights on my machine, and I was testing out installing it via the Company Portal after Steve worked to get it added there for UGRC staff.

It sounds like we may be going in circles then. We'll see where this latest circle takes us...

Ryan Bennett says that it should be available to all state employees now. I've sent a few messages to employees in different state department to verify. It's windows only for now. He's working on getting the macOS version published as well.

I've got confirmation from users in DHHS and DEQ that they can see the app in the company portal. This is looking good. Still waiting on macOS version.

macOS version showed up this morning in the company portal. Both Windows and macOS should be available to all users at the moment. Ryan is going to meet with Jay at some point and verify that we can keep it this way.

I met with Ryan and Jay Barfuss a few days ago. Jay said that there was no process for getting software approved for all state employees. It only happens one IT director at a time requesting access for their group. We decided to push this through the approval process for UGRC to get it reviewed by the software approval board and then we can talk about getting it released on a wider scale.

I submitted the form in ServiceNow for this but I can't find a reference to it anywhere. Laura did get assigned a task to review it.
