Overnight from 02/18/26 to 02/19/26, MKV files created during the capture process stopped allowing playhead skipping around. No error message, just the spinning beach ball and no response in VLC when I try to move the time-bar (I left it spinning once, came back from the weekend and it was still "thinking"). I can adjust playback speed, but no major time shifting in newly created MKVs. To be clear, the files that were made before 02/19/26 still allow scrubbing.
As far as I can tell, nothing changed. The last files that work fine were being made with vrecord version 2026-02-10, as are files that don't work fine. The OS is the same, VLC is the same.
