I used SimplePerf Record - e CS Etm: u-p com. ss. android. ugc. aweme -- duration 10- o perf. data to capture perf. data, but I encountered the following problem when using SimplePerf Inject - i perf. data -- Output Branch List - o branch_ist. data.

I think the CS eTM event includes sampling of branch events. Does this error mean that there is a problem with the data I collected

The error means the branches belong to an unexpected file type (dex file).
Could you share your perf.data?

I tried another executable file, I used SimplePerf record - e cs-etm: u./etmt_test-loop to get perf.data, and then I used SimplePerf inject - i perf.data - output branch list - o branch_ist.data, and this time I succeeded. I wonder if it's because the com. ss. android. ugc. aweme app restricts access to DSO? Is there a solution to this problem? Thank you for your reply

Probably it is a problem not reproducible every time. I can't tell why unless seen the perf.data.
