I'm getting this error message on syncing project with Gradle files :
File google-services.json is missing. The Google Services Plugin cannot function without it.
I guess a firebase config file is missing?

I am suffering that same problem, did you solve it? On the other hand, if you have the app built, can you send me the apk?

You need to generate the json file with the firebase console.
