Uniform branch lengths to facilitate tree visualization #138

Description

@chinchliff

Maybe I just can't find this feature (would make for an easy solution), but I don't seem to be able to assign branch lengths to trees. In the case where a tree has no branch lengths, this makes for a pretty unhelpful visualization--the nonexistent branch lengths are assumed to be zeros, and the tree ends up smashed into one dimension on the left side of the window. It's pretty important to be able to visualize trees with no branch lengths. Could there be a feature in the dendrogram viz module that allows uniform branch lengths to be applied (though not necessarily saved into the tree)? This would also be helpful for trees with non-zero but widely varying brlens.
