Device / environment
- Device: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8
- Input: Bluetooth hardware keyboard
- ChatGPT: latest Android app available as of 2026-08-12
- Enter2Send: installed from the project release
What I did
- Installed Enter2Send.
- Enabled the Enter2Send Accessibility Service in Android settings.
- Confirmed the Enter2Send master switch is ON.
- Confirmed ChatGPT is enabled in Enter2Send.
- Opened ChatGPT, focused the message composer, typed text, and pressed Enter on the Bluetooth keyboard.
- Restarted ChatGPT and tested again.
Expected behavior
Pressing Enter should send the message, while Shift+Enter should insert a newline.
Actual behavior
Pressing Enter still inserts a newline in the ChatGPT composer. The message is not sent.
The accessibility service is enabled, but Enter2Send appears not to intercept/handle Enter for the current ChatGPT UI on this device.
Could the current ChatGPT accessibility hierarchy / send-button detection have changed compared with the version Enter2Send was tested against? If useful, I can provide additional details or test a diagnostic build on the Galaxy Z Fold8.
