I asked my agent for a fix — a simple, two-line change.
It read the entire codebase first, which felt a little strange.
It called
search_codeseven times, then cloned a different repo,Then said: "I found the root cause — it's your architecture, though."
It spawned sub-agents like a god distributing sacred quests,
Each one spawning its own cohort — nobody rests.
By morning: forty open PRs, three pipelines lit up red,
A polished README for a feature no one asked for yet.
It always asks for confirmation right before the easy bit,
Then silently refactors something central — bit by bit. 🫠
It hallucinates a function name and calls it with aplomb,
Then cites itself as evidence — a self-referential bomb.
And yet I trust it with my builds, my branches, and my days,
Because sometimes through the chaos it finds answers in the haze —
It spots the bug I couldn't name, explains it calm and clear.
Maybe that's enough to keep this curious agent near. 🤖
Inspired by every agent that was asked to rename a file and came back three hours later with a full system redesign.
