About Appearance modeling

Section 4.2.4 of the paper describes that this paper uses an appearance modeling technique, but I did not find any modules with similar functionality running in the publicly available code. Can you help me find them?

We have not included the appearance modeling feature in this re-implementation. This feature is generally impactful for datasets with strong view-dependent effects, though it tends to have a smaller effect on most others.
@Sarasra do we plan on implementing that module in gsplat? I can look into it later this week, we can also check if George has released it on the 3D Gaussian Splatting codebase.
