Nextcloud Tasks has no option to send email reminders for due or upcoming tasks. Todoist supports configurable reminders that notify users by email and push (depending on user preference) at set intervals up to a task's due date. Nextcloud Tasks offers no equivalent, despite Nextcloud Calendar already supporting email notifications for events.
Describe the solution you'd like
Allow users to set one or more reminders per task (e.g., "on due date," "1 day before," custom offset) and receive an email notification when each reminder triggers, matching the reminder functionality already standard in Todoist.
NC Calendar currently sees email reminders and push reminders as separate things. For simplicity, it would be great if Tasks were able to send a single reminder both over email and over push.
