Suggestion: (inspection frame) store inspected target's items temporarily

... So you can keep inspecting them if they run out of range. Then wipe the data when user closes inspection window OR changes target with inspection open.

does the modern/retail inspect UI act something like this? I can look into it but it seems slightly outside the scope of the project, perhaps better for a standalone mod

I don't play retail so I can't answer that. I do know that there was an addon around in TBC that could do this.

I actually suggested it because it seemed fitting, given how much attention to detail this mod has.
