npm and yarn packages need to be updated

hi @omerg! do you think you can publish the newest versions to npm and yarn registries? so far they're still on 0.1.28 from 2019.

Thanks for your attention and your earlier contribution @victoriatomzik , you're more than welcome to become the maintainer of this package!

I've tried a few releases, but looks like the babel configuration is pretty outdated. I wonder if you would consider building it with tsc instead going forward?
