Add a Projects sidebar option to sort by name

The Projects sidebar should offer a sort-by-name option in addition to the current updated and created sort options.

Once the sidebar has more than roughly 10-20 projects, created and updated ordering stop being useful for scanning. I often know the project name I am looking for, not when it was last touched or created, so an alphabetical sort would make the list much easier to navigate.

Related: #23462 covers project ordering that appears to use a hidden path/key instead of the visible project name. This request is for an explicit user-facing "Name" sort option alongside "Updated" and "Created".

+1 for this.

My main use case is having many projects for the same company/client. Sorting by created or updated is useful for recent work, but it makes it hard to scan the sidebar when I want all projects for one company grouped together.

An explicit alphabetical/name sort for Projects would make the sidebar much easier to navigate once there are many projects.

+1 from a Windows Codex App + mobile Remote workflow.

I keep many local project roots under a common directory (C:\gvv\AI\...). Once the list grows, the current persisted/manual order is hard to scan, especially in the mobile Remote project picker where I want to jump to a project by name.

A built-in alphabetical sort would be much better than editing local state (.codex-global-state.json / project-order) by hand.

What would help:

• Sort by visible project display name / label, not only raw path basename.
• Keep pinned projects behavior explicit, e.g. pinned first, then A-Z.
• Apply consistently in the desktop sidebar and mobile Remote.
• Persist the selected sort mode so newly added projects do not break the ordering.

Right now my "workaround" for this is pin every project and then drag them around. It's a manual process, but works well enough. I have the projects section usually set to chronological. The split though is still odd. I'd prefer to have both chrono + projects sorted by name and not have to pin them all.
