g722 segfault

I'm on Windows10/cygwin64/gcc9.3.0 and I got a segfault when running g722 tests. I traced it down to this line in the saturate function.

What could be the cause?

All g722 tests pass on the current CI (STL2026 branch) across Ubuntu GCC/Clang, Windows MSVC, and macOS Clang. This was not reproducible outside the Cygwin64/GCC 9.3.0 environment originally reported.

Suggesting we close this as resolved — if anyone can still reproduce it on a current toolchain, please reopen.
