NumFOCUS application

I wanted to let everyone know that I have applied to join NumFOCUS. July 15 starts Round 3.

I got word yesterday that Mathics3 has been conditionally accepted as an Affiliated Project of NumFOCUS.

Here is what we have to do to remove the conditional part:

CoC [Code of Conduct?] doesn't have a proper contact for reporting incidents. It should be updated to have a shared email address or a project-wide email address, making it easy for anyone to report.

I would be grateful if someone could give very explicit steps to get the Mathics3 organization in CoC compliance, or better, just perform those steps.

If someone else can't take care of this, after my October 18 BSidesNYC workshop, I'll look into this in more detail to try to get the organization in compliance.

I don't really know. For my part, we already went through a round of trying to guess what was needed.

I'll forward the email I got in case I am missing or misrepresenting the facts. Also, that way you can respond and get more detail and information l should you want.
