Description

I can't remember if this is done or not, but got a recent report that just adding the labels does not trigger a copr_build job so I suspect it is not?

Thanks for filing this feature request. The idea of triggering jobs automatically when PR labels change makes sense, but a few details would help scope the implementation:

Could you share a concrete example of the .packit.yaml configuration and workflow you (or the reporter you mentioned) had in mind? For instance, if a job is configured with labels: [eln], should adding the eln label to a PR automatically trigger only the matching copr_build job, or should it also trigger any tests jobs that depend on those builds? And should removing a label cancel or skip anything?

A specific scenario would help distinguish this from the related #3079 (which covers /packit build --labels comment commands) and clarify the expected end-to-end behavior.
