How does the issue tracker work?

Hi, I've seen there is a tab on Repository Configuration called "Issue Tracker". I've configured it to test it putting "https://github.com/sourcegit-scm/sourcegit/issues/$1" on the result URL and "#(\d+)" on the Regex field (default) but I don't know what to expect now.

Is there any tab or window that needs to be open to show issues? How does this feature work?

I think, that regexp will detect references to issues in the commit messages.

SourceGit detects issue links in commit message by user configured issue tracker rules.

When you click these issue links, SourceGit will open it in default browser.
