CU installation and stopping services

I have a 4 server farm. 2 APP (APP1/APP2) and 2 WFE (WFE1/WFE2) SharePoint 2016
the current script stops all the services on all the servers simultaneously before installing the CU. I have an requirement to achieve one or all the below scenarios.

1. To Install CU sequentially versus simultaneously.
2. To change the order how which server to apply the CU. (APP1 ->WFE1 ->APP2 -. WFE2)
3. To select which server to apply the CU. (Have a menu option)

I am referencing SharePoint 2016 zero downtime .
