At present, SPM's MATLAB unit test results are buried in the Github Actions logs. This limits monitoring of the tests by SPM developers, as well as reducing transparency to users. The solution is to implement a Github Actions job that generates clearly formatted reports, and sends targeted emails to developers when relevant tests fail.
