Claim
Paper 6 (Canonical Confrontation, v2.0) proposes that canonical status is the structural trace of practitioner confrontation with a domain's kernel at the point where the comma is operative. One sub-claim of that account is empirically testable:
Posthumous / delayed canonical rehabilitation correlates with later recognition that the work confronted its domain's generative operation at its limit. Bach's ~80-year neglect and Mendelssohn-era rehabilitation, El Greco's ~3-century neglect and early-20th-century rehabilitation, and the Homeric epics predating every institution that has claimed them are presented as paradigm cases. The falsification condition is identification of works that exhibit structural markers of kernel-level confrontation but have not been canonically rehabilitated despite sufficient elapsed time.

What's being asked
- Is the historical record as described? Do the reception histories of Bach, El Greco, and the Homeric epics fit the pattern the paper claims?
- Are there matched counter-examples? Works that exhibit comparable structural markers but that have not achieved canonical rehabilitation despite sufficient elapsed time would falsify or refine the prediction.
- Is the class of "structural markers" operationalizable independently of reception history? Paper 6 ties operationalization to the proxy feature program of Paper 1 § 4.4; domain experts may have independent vocabularies (e.g., contrapuntal density, formal-material tension) for what the paper calls "kernel-level confrontation."
- Is the structural account competitive with sociological / institutional accounts of canonical rehabilitation? Where does it add explanatory power, and where does it not?
