randomizer crashed on ''setting up''

As soon as I click any game, new or preexisting, it shows an error message with looping loading screen with no progress.

I have the same issue, read on a different forum that using the pre.42 release instead of the current pre.49 release of Nautilus helps, since the Randomizer was originally developed on this patch.
I've tried this myself, but the only thing it changed was that I now get stuck on the message:
"Early mod setup (2/2): Subnautica Randomiser - Setting up."

I know this isn't much help, but you at least know that downgrading Nautilus doesn't help
