Outcome

Provide a durable local schema for settings, progress, completion, bookmarks, annotations, and offline metadata.

Acceptance criteria

  • Schema versions and forward migrations are tested.
  • A failed migration does not silently erase data.
  • Publication refresh does not reset reader state.
  • Storage errors and quota failures produce actionable messages.
