This template should help get you started developing with Vue 3 in Vite.

Recommended IDE Setup

VSCode + Volar (and disable Vetur).

Type Support for .vue Imports in TS

TypeScript cannot handle type information for .vue imports by default, so we replace the tsc CLI with vue-tsc for type checking. In editors, we need Volar to make the TypeScript language service aware of .vue types.

Project Setup

pnpm install

Compile and Hot-Reload for Development

pnpm dev

The frontend version comes from package.json. Production builds also embed the current Git commit. CI can override these values with VITE_APP_VERSION and VITE_GIT_COMMIT.

The FileCodeBox product release workflow builds the latest commit from this repository's default branch. Every push is also checked with a production build.

Type-Check, Compile and Minify for Production

pnpm build

Lint with ESLint

pnpm lint
