Mould King Smart Creative Module Missing

Hello,

thanks for providing continued support for the App. I have the model 13153 from Mould King (https://mouldkingcorp.com/products/mould-king-13153-app-controlled-tracked-racer-building-set?srsltid=AfmBOop3f50FcnkTOMYN1H0sML1fNS7N4rOxPug01rUn-ScnJQB2p-K2)

It contains the Smart Creative module MK 3.0. It has only two rotary axis would it be possible to add this to the app? If I can provide any signal data I can try to do this, but would need help to acquire it.

The MK 3.8 device does not work.

No, the signal data itself is not required for development - but it is necessary for testing on a real device.

All models - MK2.0, MK3.0, MK4.0D and MK8.0 - use the same datagrams for connection and control.

@vicocz we need to discuss issue #252.
I’d like to introduce separate device entries for each model, including matching images.
The problem appears when users select multiple models "to play" that share identical datagrams.

In my opinion, the app should display an exclamation icon with a hint whenever this conflict occurs.

BTW - the MK3 is not just a two-channel-device:
There is a rocket-button left-down and an arrow-button right-down in the App.

That is true, but it controls the two motors. Up/down has both spinning in the same direction. Left/right has them spinning in the opposite direction. If you press up and left just one is rotating.

I was hoping to change this layout with the app so that I can control the two sides independently.

Up: Both-Forward
Down: Both-Reverse
Left: Left-Side Reverse, Right-Side Forward
Right: Left-Side Forward, Right-Side Reverse

Rocket-Button: Plays a program: Forward, reverse, left spin, right, etc.

Up and Left: Right-Side Forward
Up and Right: Left-Side Forward

Down and Left: Right-Side Reverse
Down and Right: Left-Side Reverse

That are all the buttons I have on the physical control. I did not install the Mould King App.

I installed the app and tested it. The Rocket button and the arrow button do not do anything. What I sought was the rocket button was the left shoulder button on the physical control.

Otherwise everything is as described.

And it seems another connector for an axis on top?

I've run a Build Action here on the branch containing the MK3.

This is the link to the created artifact - it's a zip-file containing com.scn.BrickController2-Signed.apk wich you can install.

Be aware: save/export your existing creations from the installed app - I don't know if the database is kept!

There are 4 channels:

• channel A - left/right
• channel B - forward/backward
• channel C - "the rocket"
• channel D - "the arrow"

Sorry for the delay but github was down. (Could not reach it.)

I installed the artifact form the ci. Unfortunately, it does not work. I do not get any reaction from the block.

In order to make sure that it is not a permission problem, I also tested a MK4.0 block. This one works without any problems.
