Goal

Define and document a clear process for deprecating components in our design system, so teams understand when, why, and how components should be retired or replaced.

Also, within the Epic's children, list possible and approved components for deprecation.

Scope

• Understand the current deprecation process and identify gaps
• Define criteria for when a component should be deprecated
• Establish how deprecations are communicated to design and engineering
• Define migration guidance and expected timelines
• Clarify ownership and responsibilities throughout the process
• List of possible and approved components or variants for deprecation
