AB and TAG: Chairs and Team Contacts as Participants

The AB has expressed that they consider their Team contact to be an AB participant, and understands that the TAG already operates in this way. Also, if the AB or TAG chair is selected from outside the group, the process should be clear that they are a group participant.

Are related question is when a co-chair is appointed from outside of the elected participants, should they too be considered a participant. I suspect the answer should be the same.
