Describe the bug
Audio is not being recorded properly, or not being recorded at all
To Reproduce
- Open window you want to record
- Open Recordly
- Select video camera - Logitech in my case
- Select microphone, I've tried it with:
- external Yeti micrpohone
- external microphone built in in wired default apple headphones, whcich are coming together with some old versions of iphone
- built in macbook pro microphone
- Record something with sound
- Stop recording
- Try to preview, what's being recorded.
Actual result:
- When the macbook lid of macbook is closed, and I am recording with Yeti professional microphone: Sound is not recorded at all.
- When the macbook lid is opened, and I am recording with Yeti professional microphone: sound is being recorded, but it looks like the sound is not from Yeti microphone, it sounds like I am inside metal garage, loud echo, and it looks like it is actually the sound of macbook built in microphone
- When the macbook lid is opened, and I am recording with macbook built in microphone: sound is being recorded, but it sounds like I am inside metal garage, loud echo
- When the macbook lid is opened, and I am recording with apple wired headphones built in microphone: sound is being recorded, but it sounds like I am inside metal garage, loud echo
Expected result: sound is being recorded clear from Yeti microphone, and it not depends on if the lid is open or not.
This problem is not reproduced when
- I am trying to record sound via example Quicktime → Audio recording
- I am trying to record screen with camera and microphone via OBS
- I am having calls over zoom, google meet, etc.
Desktop:
- Device: Macbook Pro M4
- OS: Mac OS 26.4.1 (25E253)
- Recordly Version 1.3.3 (1.3.3)
Additional context
I've tried to restart Mac OS and checked system permissions, it does not help.
I don't have any additional audio software installed.
