Possible to use without IRC command?

Hi,

I want to create an IRC bot that logs specific stuff inside my application.

As a test I tried to create a listener that gets started when a certain controller is used. However I'm not able to.

Bottomline: I want to let the bot log stuff without getting a trigger from IRC, but a trigger from inside the application.

Could you help me out? Or tell me to stop dreaming because this isn't possible with this bundle?

@Gwynei hey, I haven't done anything to this project for years, but based on my memory and quick look into code it should be possible.
As it's event based, so you just need to create your custom listener.

Also remember that this project does not have Symfony updated, which includes also security updates.
So I wouldn't recommend running it anywhere on production.
