For a macro like this

\define test(src, para1, para2, para3, para4)
\end

The configuration looks like this

\customize degree='blockquote' _element='$macrocall' $name='test' _1='para1' _2='para2' _3='para3' _4='para4' _mode='block' _endString='---' _params=':::t1:::t2:::t3:::t4' _debug='both'

But the _params=':::t1:::t2:::t3:::t4' definition is a bit "clunky", since it needs 2 parameters to make sense: _1='para1' _2='para2' _3='para3' _4='para4'

I would like to have it like this: _params="""para1="t1" para2="t2" para3="t3" para4="t4" """ ... So it would be similar to the macro definition itself and there would probably be now limit to the number of parameters.

I'm thinking about that. BUT it would be a breaking change. @TiddlyTweeter .. What do you think?

It won't be in the next version but I do really think about it.
