[Feature]: return `Cow` instead of `String` from `chunkid`

Problem Statement

chunkid returns String, but sometimes allocation is unnecessary since it's possible to just return a substring. Noticed while integrating logging from Bevy.

Proposed Solution

I'd suggest to return Cow instead.
