Today asn.t has a number of deficiencies:

  • There are no well defined scenarios for it, but instead it makes use of public servers.
  • It does not exercise the behavior of the ASNLookup module in the presence of ASN server misbehavior.

We should rewrite asn.t to remedy these deficiencies.
