Squashed dev onto main to linearize history and drop a duplicate actions/checkout bump that made the PR un-rebasable on GitHub. main already contained no commits absent from dev, so no main-side work is lost. Includes: - log_parser module and tests - regenerated messages.pot / German catalog (no stray build/lib paths) - copy-truncate rotation test split to remove a 3.12 thread race - ruff per-file-ignore for tests, codespell typo fix Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
