My Mac kept committing to the skills vault whenever Codex updated bundled plugins or a plugin inspection timed out.
SkillSync now keeps its conflict-free per-device reports, but persists only stable user-managed plugin selectors and enabled state. Codex-owned packages, versions, authentication metadata, and temporary inspection failures stay local. Failed inspections preserve the last successful report.
Validation:
