I have completed the bash script in the assignment as per the given instructions, and merged my code with the given branch.
What did you learn from the changes you have made?
I learnt basic shell commands on how to make, copy, and move directories and files, as well as pattern matching while looking for files.
Was there another approach you were thinking about making? If so, what approach(es) were you thinking of?
Since I am pretty comfortable with bash scripts, I did not think of using any other approach for the given task.
Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?
Running bash scripts on Windows, even with WSL is a bit tricky. So I had to switch to Ubuntu to test the bash script working properly.
How were these changes tested?
I made a clean directory for testing the bash script and ran it, then manually checked if the changes had taken place according to instructions.
