This adds two of the three things from the SEQTaRget draft PR.

  • warm starts for bootstrap GLM fits
  • print dataset summary information during the run when new SEQopts() verbose=True (matches R feature)

Wow! This looks great - very nice idea.
Out of curiosity, do you have timing estimates for how much this saves?

Sadly much less than I was expecting.

For the R version I think it saves about 20 seconds out of the approx 6.5 minute render. I did see an approx similar speed up in the Python version but that may have been conflated with me bumping the version of Python in my venv from 3.14.4 to 3.14.5.
