Prompt validation in execution.py validates each resulting IO.Combo value against extra_info["options"] and rejects invalid values with value_not_in_list before execute() runs. Review validation logic against only the reachable option domain for closed IO.Combo.Input lists inside a DynamicCombo, unless the node provides another input path that bypasses prompt validation.
