That's a great idea! LGTM :) I'll publish a new Spedread version with your changes somewhere between today and Tuesday P.S.: don't worry about the "snap-build" check failing, that's because Canonical still haven't ported the necessary GNOME libraries to their new Ubuntu 26.04 snap base. I'll just have to revert to 24.04 before publishing the update |

Published your changes in v2.8.1 (already available on the AUR & Snapcraft, and in a few hours on Flathub since they have a bit of delay) I was working on fixing the Spedread icon for KDE users so your PR came at a really good time. i just did a small adition of gtk handler/controller to the read tab builder to handle vertical scroll. tested it on mouse with one scroll wheel and on touchpad and works as i would expect.
