Hi there, I'm Debasish Hazarika 👋

Currently, I'm a Postdoc Research Associate at Steward Observatory, University of Arizona, USA 🇺🇸. Before that, I completed my Ph.D. in Astronomy from Institute of Astronomy and Planetary Science (INCT-UDA), University of Atacama, Chile 🇨🇱 and BS-MS in Physics from Gauhati University, Assam, India 🇮🇳.

My work focuses on studying different properties of Nearby Dwarf Galaxies and Milkyway using data from large astronomical surveys such as **Rubin, DECaLs, S-PLUS, VVV/VVVx, Gaia, OGLE, APOGEE, GALAH **(among others) and Machine Learning / Astrostatistics tools. I also enjoy developing open-source scientific tools and techniques for large-scale astronomical data analysis. Open to collaboration.
