Prim's algorithm

Prim's algorithm is a greedy algorithm that finds a minimum spanning tree for a weighted undirected graph. This means it finds a subset of the edges that forms a tree that includes every vertex, where the total weight of all the edges in the tree is minimized(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prim%27s_algorithm)

here is the implantation of this algortihm in java ( in NetBeans).

when you run the program you will be asked to enter the number of vertexes, edges, and also the value of on each edge. lets say you have a graph like this :

to create a the above graph you should enter the following numbers:

number of vertexes : 4 number of edges: 5

Enter the number of first and second vertex and also the value of their edge 1 2 3

Enter the number of first and second vertex and also the value of their edge 1 3 6

Enter the number of first and second vertex and also the value of their edge 1 4 9

Enter the number of first and second vertex and also the value of their edge 2 4 6

Enter the number of first and second vertex and also the value of their edge 3 4 2

i will print out the minimum cost and also specify linked vertexes. it will also plot an ugly graph of the optimal solution as follows:
